We will spend the weekend cleaning up from the Hurricane...I hear you have one south of you too..How come trees are so beautiful until a hurricane deposits them in your yard. Rest up amigo and enjoy the holiday.
Good luck with the hurricane, Mystic. Ours is too far south to do any damage to us (knock wood). The only thing we'll probably see is some sub-tropical moisture and a few muggy days. Blech.
We're going to try to camp out in our back yard this weekend with the babies. Unless the mosquitoes drive us back inside.
Hurricane came ashore late night. Lost Power but not much damage here. One death. Flooding is the biggest problem.Went North and caused greater damage. I guess we are pretty used to them here at HURRICANE ALLEY. Most of our possesions were blown into Virgina a long time ago. My son is hunting this weekend. The other usually hunts in Canada. I guess we will all go together this year but we are not inviting DICK CHANNEY..
We are into dove hunting right now lowk...not much of a target to shoot at with a bow and arrow...I have a corn field that they like to come to, around 3 pm...gives us just enough time to fix them for dinner...does Calli cook your game? We have enough around the house to keep us busy...Fishing on the sound or the ocean is also available here.
The Hunting Season is open and the Bow guys are out in force. I just have to walk out into the woods. This morning I counted 15 dove just outside my back door...Only have seen one doe so far but no bear yet. Fox and beaver also available around here.
