Damn!!! Time flies when you're lazy

Not much happening here. I recuperating from an elbow surgery. Seems over the years I've managed to tear a muscle in my left arm so bad that the doc had to cut the rest off and reattach it to the elbow. Guess the pain level grows with age. As a kid I would just shake it off and keep going. Think the tolerance to pain goes away along with hair color and a trim waist. But I'm doing good and hoping to get back to work soon. As long as this economy will cooperate. So for now I'll leave you with a pleasant song from the past.

One More Nail in My Coffin

Well, the dreaded big five-O came and went. Guess the angel of death has a heart after-all. That or a very big mean streak. I won't know till later. Callie was good to me (as Always) I got hunting stuff and tools. Everything needed to keep my testosterone level up. Could have save some money and just bought me some Viagra. All in all it was a good B-day. We even went to Reno and saw Jeff Dunham. For anyone reading this who doesn't know of him look him up on you tube, he's FUNNY. So with one more year under my melt (and 20lbs over it) I'll say good-bye for now.

Once again things here have'nt changed. I've been applying for all the jobs that come close to my trade and some that don't. Guess I just have to be patient. Good thing I have callie here to keep me on track. She truly is the luv of my life.

Another day

Well, once again I have nothing of value to say. No new pearls of wisdom to pass along. Suffice it to say my dad who was ill is doing much better thanks to the powers that be. Wife and kids are getting along with no major health issues. I'm tolerated by all and the sun is shining. With that said I'll leave you with this. For all the unappreciated fathers out there. It's never too late to tell pop how you feel.

Decisions, Decisions

My hunting bud started reloading for our varmit rifles but he's locked into this speed mode. He thinks faster is better and if the bullets don't fly right it's the equipments fault. I wanna try some of my theories and see if they work but I know I'll be stepping on his feeling and crushing them like eggshells being thrown against a brick wall. I don't have a problem with that, it's just finding the right loads to try first. I like the trajectory of fast bullets but I also like the knockdown power of the slower heavier round. I guess I'll try for the middle of the road approach. I'll post my findings. ( not like anyone cares or understands)

YEAH!!! I'm Not Cheap!!

I'm a Ferrari 360 Modena!

You've got it all. Power, passion, precision, and style. You're sensuous, exotic, and temperamental. Sure, you're expensive and high-maintenance, but you're worth it.

"Take the Which Sports Car Are You? quiz.

For a while there I thought I was Cheap.

New post

Well, it's time to update AGAIN! Same ol'shit is still happening. Got three more weeks off. Thinking about reloading for my rifles but I'm also getting my archery shit back in order. Also, I"m trying to get all those little projects outta the way. Ya know the stuff I mean. All the stuff that keeps getting put aside for one reason or another. I'm hoping to get them all done before the kids go back to school. Other than that. The world turns and shit happens.

Time for a new post

Well I'm still out on disability from that shoulder op.It would'nt be so bad if I wasn't limited on what I can do. Kindda strange isn't it? We all want time to do what we want, but when we get it there are always limitations. AAAGGGGHHH!!! I'm tempted to head for the trap and skeet range and try shooting left handed. Dove season is coming up and I don't want to miss it.

Light at the end of the tunnel

well I'm almost through with disability. One more month and I'm back to work. I'm hoping to find something in the propane field again. I love that kind of work. There's an element of danger that is a real rush. I'm been through a lot of emergencies that have burned me or temporarely blinded me and even had narrowly avoided major explosions that could've wipedout the surrounding area. You really feel alive when you come close to death. (guess that's why I got married):] I've built or worked on most of the trucks in northern california so I'm hoping to find some work close to home. (and a good hospital)

I'm BAAACK.

Well wifey posted some for me but I geuss I should keep things current. Almost done recovering from shoulder surgery. It was a little rougher than ussual coming outta surgery this time. Man I was Wacked!! Damn gas passer hit me with the elephant shit. It took two days to pull myself together and three for my stomach to forgive me. Worst part is the pain killers, DID'nt!!! Damn pills are'nt good for anything but drugging the cat and watching stumble around. >] Callie seems to like them though. I might be out for one more month but not sure. Staying home is BORING!!!!!!! And the oldest rats me out to her mother if I try and work around here. Some daddy's little girl she is. Gonna get her a perch. Then she'll have something to sit on when she plays the stool pigeon. Other than that the weathers good, the TV shows suck and I gotta go hunting before the nieghbors dogs and cats start turning up missing. AAAAGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
