A Solid reply to a Mushy Blog

As callie said, we met at the junior college in an aerobics class. As for being the gentleman! Yeah Right, If it wasn't for the tight workout shorts I would've been sporting a full blown command tent. And as for the sparkling eyes! Any mans eyes would sparkle in a room full and women dressed in tight revealing clothes. True we've had good and bad times. Everyone does. But I promised to love and honor. (one of the easiest promises I've had to keep) The problems lately were started by me and compounded by both of us. We resolved the issue when she started faking 4 or 5 orgasm a night so I wouldn't feel bad. I didn't want her to feel bad either so I fake 1 or 2 just to keep it real.
Honestly though, I've never know any woman who was able to make me forget all the others that crossed my path. Her kisses brought back the shakes, just like when we first met.
I have many regrets in my life. Some are the worst imaginable. But The ones I want and will try to rectify. Are the times I made Callie cry.

That went over like a busted rubber

It seems that either nobody read my last blog or they did'nt care for it. Not a remark! At least Callie knows it in fun and how I feel about the whole thing.

Anyway, not too much happening here but The warm weather. Hopefully it'll keep up so we can use the pool when its done. I"m hop[ing we can have my B-day party christening the pool. With luck we'll set a new standard in low-life behavior. I'll keep you posted and for those in close you'll get pics. (the good ones)

9/11

Since there have been a few post about where and what folks were doing when the attacks occurred. I thought I'd mention something I did when I found out about it.
To begin with, I'm a former marine (for those that don't know). The unit I belonged to was limited to about 100 men world wide. Nothing too special, but the life expectancy for us during combat was about 8 seconds once the shooting started. Anyway, When I heard on the radio what was happening on my way to work. I immediately thought, WAR! Later I decided to have alittle fun and have a friend from work call our house an leave a message saying that he was a major in the adjutant Generals office at camp Pendleton and that they want me to contact them because I was being recalled to active duty. I was to report as soon as possible. When Callie heard that, the look on her face was priceless. It was worth the beatings for sure. She didn't know what to say. She knew my unit was unique but WOW!I had a hard time keeping a straight face. Later she called the number my friend left an realized it was a joke. Tonight when I told her I wanted to post it that looked returned.
Had to be one of my better jokes. :D

Honey! I'm Home

Hi all. Sorry I haven't been around much. I try to read everyone's blog's but when time is short. Anyway, I've been trying to think of something interesting to blog about but not much is going on. There is one thing that keeps coming back to me. But since I'm not the writer type I hesitate to start it. But some young friend of mine said I should blog what I feel and be happy so here it goes..

I think it was around 1990 or so there was a whole bunch of sigthings of the Virgin Mary all over the world. One of them happened to be here in California not far from Sacramento. At the insistence of a friend who was very religious you just wanted to slap her I decided to go see for myself. I decided to spend the night in the parking lot so I would be the first one in and get a good seat. It was really cold then December or January I think. But being the rugged outdoorsman I am I was bundled up like a newborn babe. Around 10pm some guy came around. He was just looking around then came up to talk with me. He didn't look like a threat. Kind of medium frame not to street wise looking so I didn't have to do any posturing. Anyway he went on an on about religion and how he thought it was a hoax. All the while he kept saying I should stay at his place so I wouldn't have to sleep outside. Normally I would've thought he was coming on to me but something didn't seem right. After I started to get firmer in my "No Thank You" he said lets look inside the church and see if there was anything going on. I said "it's late and the doors are locked." Then He said something that has stuck with me for years. " He we have faith the doors will be open" then he made that gesture like a faith healer, ya know head back, eyes closed and then he pulled the door handles. Like I said they were locked. After that he made one last attempt to get me to leave. Then He was gone.
In the morning the people started gathering and then the doors opened. After a certain amount of praying (like Catholics do) the apparition appeared. At first I was skeptical. I checked the direction of the sunshine and the position of the stain glass windows. Unless someone had hidden projectors and a mission impossible theme song it had to be real. When it was gone folks were talking and some said the saw the Holy Mother in detail. Others said they didn't. What I saw was Beautiful to say the least but I could not make out a face. Just a distinct shape of a woman's upper body and facial outline. I"m not the religious type but something that day happened to me. My point of view changed and I became more of a believer than an indoctrinated catholic.
I have had lot's of encounters with the supernatural and now the spiritual. My mother in her last years became obsessed with such things. Since then my whole family (those of us that lived in the house with her) have had more than our share of these types of encounters. Is it possible that mom inadvertently opened something or passed something on to us by accident? I hope I'm wrong. I hope all that has happened and all I've seen is just part of life. (Or death)
