Well, the pool is full of water and things are looking good. The Hot Tub will be in by the end of the month. (under penalty of death) Now the work starts. And here's where all of you come in. Callie an I are not what some would call "people of style" meaning, we couldn't decorate a garage. Anyone have any ideas on how to landscape and decorate the backyard??? I'm open to anything (callie can attest to that).
So here is everyone's chance to put there decorating style to work. All suggestions will be considered. Thanks.

I doubt I'd be any help with decorating. Although like Mystic said.. maybe pics would help so we know what to work with. (I mean I know your yard but no idea how the new pool and hot tub look in it.. how much space... all that)

Yes, we will be taking pictures of the back yard. As soon as weather, and the condition of the yard, permit - we'll take OTHER pics of us frolicking. :-D
We're thinking of a tropical-like theme, complete with tiki torches and potted palms. Only problem is - as Lowk as said - we both suck at the whole decoration type stuff. Shoot, we're lucky if we get things to grow, let alone look good and blend. Sooooo . . . any and all suggestions would be most helpful.
Penny and I are toying with the idea of adding a small fountain/waterfall in one corner of the yard. Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to run it all year (damn Canadian winters) but it would be kind of a nice addition.
some of the pool designs wwe looked at had fountains built-in them. Callie liked them but wasn't too keen on having one.
Cover the entire backyard with astro turf. How cool would that be?
